Why buy assembled

You get the robot, not a project

Every unit is assembled, servo IDs set, firmware flashed and calibrated on our bench. The calibration file ships preloaded. Plug in, run the LeRobot example, record your first episode the same afternoon.

Open designs, honest pricing

All four are open-source hardware (Apache-2.0 / GPL-3.0). We do not change the designs. You can repair, modify and print spares yourself; we publish our build notes and any changes we make.

Small team, direct answers

Emails are answered by the engineers who built your unit, usually within one working day. Quotes for 5+ units and university invoices on request.

How pre-ordering works

  1. Leave your email and the quantity you have in mind. Nothing is charged.
  2. We reply within one working day with photos of a finished unit, a shipping estimate for your country and a refundable deposit link (USD 50).
  3. Your unit is built and tested. We send a test video before it ships.
  4. Cancel any time before shipment for a full refund of the deposit.

Questions people ask

Are you the official SO-101 / XLeRobot / Open Duck / PAROL6 shop?

No. These are open-source designs by their original authors, whom we credit and link on every page. We build and support units under the licenses those projects chose. We are not affiliated with Hugging Face, LeRobot or the project authors.

Taxes and duties?

United States: prices exclude import duty; your carrier collects it on delivery (DDU). United Kingdom and EU: we quote a delivered price including VAT and duty (DDP), so there is nothing to pay on arrival. Other countries: we tell you before you commit.

Certification?

FCC SDoC and CE documentation are in progress and will be completed before the first units ship. Power supplies are off-the-shelf certified units.

What if it breaks?

One year of free replacement parts for anything that is not accidental damage. Since the designs are open, most parts can also be printed or bought locally; we tell you which.

Can I get a quote for a classroom set?

Yes. Pick "Request a quote" in the form, tell us the quantity and your institution, and we send a formal quote and pro-forma invoice.

Who are you?
